An International Training School organised and funded by the EU COST Action IS1204 on Tourism, Wellbeing and Ecosystem Services will be held on 20-22nd October 2014.

The Training School will be held at: SiTI, the Higher Institute on Territorial Systems for Innovation in Torino, Italy in conjunction with the Dead Sea and Arava Science Center and the Center for Tourism, Pilgrimage & Recreation Research in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Haifa. The event is purposefully staged in Torino, a vibrant and sophisticated city known for its rich socio-cultural-commercial history. Hence, to supplement the lectures and classroom learning, the curriculum contains a experiential field-trip to a number of nearby tourism enterprises where training school participants can observe primary modes of digital cultural tourism in action.

There are 15 places available to students who are interested in the general aspects of the programme. A substantial grant towards the travel and accommodation is also available for all accepted students.

Training School Applications should be submitted by: September 10th, 2014 and forwarded by email to: IS1204TObeWELL(at)exeter.ac.uk
