Exploring the use of NEAT in environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment in the marine contex

COLUMBUS Workshop, 29th June, CETMAR – Vigo (Spain)

 

COLUMBUS project aim to ensure that applicable knowledge generated through EU-funded science and technology research can be transferred effectively to advance the governance of the marine and maritime sectors. To this end, CETMAR has identified the NEAT tool, an output of DEVOTES with promising impact potential, and organized a Workshop to assess the suitability of NEAT to be used in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and strategic impact assessment in the marine environment (SEA).

 

 

General objective of the seminar 

To assess the suitability of NEAT to be used in environmental impact assessment and strategic impact assessment in the marine environment.

Target audience 

Environmental consultancies, NGOs and other organizations performing environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment studies for any human intervention in the marine environment, administrations with any relevant competences in this context and researchers with interest in this issue.
